Description
Ceratospinax manigcristus
"Magnificent horns"
Length:49-53 ft
Height:20-27 ft
Weight:6 tons
Ceratospinax is the tiger shark of the mesozoic era.
It will eat just about anything living or dead. It lives in the dense jungles of Asia, and South America where it plays a deadly game of survival against other predators like Tarbosaurus and Giganotosaurus.
Its success comes from it's adaptability to extreme environments and millions of years to perfect its art of hunting. The most visible feature is the line of plate like spines running its neck and back. These are to camoflauge it as part of the surrounding arboreal foliage.
Its main line of attack is a shark like bite to the flanks of its prey where massive bleeding brings the victim down. Another is to ram it with the three bone horns on its snout. The impact is enough to cripple smaller prey, and ward off unwanted competition.
